Offer Description We are seeking a Chemistry Graduate. The tasks to be carried out within the project include:
Organic synthesis of functional molecules.
Synthesis of optically active carbon nanomaterials (molecular nanographenes, endohedral fullerenes, carbon nanodots).
Chemical modification through covalent, supramolecular and asymmetric synthesis strategies in organic chemistry.
Structural characterization with advanced techniques, with emphasis on the study of chiroptic properties.
Updated literature review on the working topic.
Attendance and presentation of results at seminars and scientific meetings.
Writing scientific reports and articles.

Specific Requirements
Experience in organic synthesis, particularly in the synthesis of carbon nanomaterials with stereogenic elements.
Experience in the structural characterization of organic molecules and nanomaterials (NMR, IR, Masses, UV-Vis, Raman) and knowledge of other techniques (TEM, XPS).
Master in Chemistry.
Knowledge of databases and scientific software/tools.
Previous research experience in research centers, participation in congresses, scientific publications, and final degree or master’s theses related to the research area will be valued.
Having had some scholarship and academic awards is a plus.
