Technical Lead Embedded Software (m/f/d)
Your responsibilitiesLead the architecture, design, and development of software for medical devicesCoordinate and mentor a team of software engineersCollaborate with hardware, QA, regulatory and industrial design teamsOversee the full development lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation, integration, and validationEnsure compliance with applicable regulatory standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, etc.)Participate in code reviews, risk analyses, and architecture evaluationsManage technical project planning: estimates, priorities, risks, milestones, and deliverablesEnsure software quality through the implementation of testing and automation practicesInteract directly with clients to define requirements and technical solutions
Your profile8+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership rolesExperience developing software for safety-critical and regulated environmentsStrong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and component-based designExperience with testing frameworks, CI/CD, and agile methodologiesFamiliarity with regulated software lifecycles and technical documentation managementUnderstanding of relevant regulatory standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971)Experience working with multidisciplinary teamsAbility to make complex technical decisions and communicate solutions clearly
