We’re here to help our colleagues achieve success and offer an inclusive and collaborative culture where your voice is valued.This senior role sits within the Spain Experience Studio and holds end-to-end responsibility for delivering complex, creative-led live events — from initial proposal through to delivery and Senior Event Project Lead acts as the strategic and operational lead across creative, technical, production, and logistics teams, ensuring alignment with client objectives and excellence in execution.Reporting into the Head of Events, you will lead cross-functional internal teams and external partners, acting as the primary client contact and senior decision-maker across multiple projects and accounts.**What You'll Do on a Typical Day*** Own end-to-end project delivery for complex, creative-led events—from client briefing and proposal through production and post-event reconciliation* Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (creative directors, designers, technical specialists, producers, logistics) ensuring ideas are both creatively compelling and technically executable* Act as the primary strategic and operational contact for clients, translating their business objectives into clear creative direction and production solutions* Oversee production coordination across all technical and creative outputs (AV, video, staging, show delivery), managing timelines, budgets, and scope* Manage external suppliers and freelancers while collaborating with Account Managers, Operations, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery across Spain and European markets**What We're Looking For*** Minimum 10 years' experience in the events industry, with at least 3 years leading creative and technical project teams* Proven track record delivering complex, strategic events with integrated creative and production disciplines* Deep understanding of creative and technical event roles with the ability to brief, challenge, and guide senior-level teams confidently* Strong experience managing external freelancers and building balanced project teams with the right mix of skills* Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities with meticulous attention to detail* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment* Collaborative, commercially minded approach with a passion for innovation and industry best practice* Well-connected within the events industry with a strong network of partners and freelancers* Experience in large, international organisations and agency environments (events or marketing/communications preferred)* European language skills are an advantage**Location**Spain**The #TeamGBT Experience**Work and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT.* **Flexible benefits** are tailored to each country and start the day you do.
