This is a key position with opportunities for growth and advancement. The incumbent will work closely with project leaders and clients on various projects.ResponsibilitiesStatistical modeling in health economics:
Survival analysis, longitudinal modeling, etc.Evidence synthesis:
Guiding systematic literature review development for meta-analysis, meta-regression, etc.Developing and modeling in comparative effectiveness:
Indirect treatment comparison, NMA, NMR, etc.Advanced comparative effectiveness techniques:
STC, MAIC, complex matchings, or crossover analysis.Day-to-Day ActivitiesConsulting in HE / HTA statistics (~80% of work):
Producing high-quality indirect treatment comparison analysis and reporting.Collaborating with systematic review and health economics teams to support research goals and HTA submissions.Serving as a technical advisor on projects, guiding junior staff and clients on appropriate methods, focusing on comparative effectiveness and advanced ITC methods.Managing a small team of RCs / SRCs.Writing reports for comparative effectiveness analysis, population matching, or other technical deliverables, including quality control.This is a technical position requiring statistics, mathematics, and regression skills. Writing skills are an asset but not primary.Mentoring team members and fostering open communication and research culture.Performing other tasks as needed.QualificationsMaster's degree or PhD in statistics, epidemiology, biostatistics, economics, or health economics, with 8+ years of experience in healthcare settings (consulting/pharma/government).Hands-on experience in indirect treatment comparison methods:
NMA, ML-NMR, MAIC, STC.Experience in quantitative health outcomes, health economics, or outcome research preferred.Intermediate to advanced R programming skills.Experience with causal inference and Bayesian methods is a plus.Experience with QBA is an asset.Excellent analytical skills, methodical, disciplined, organized, professional.Ability to work independently and in teams.Attention to detail, efficiency, multitasking, and prioritization skills.Advanced English proficiency required.Publication record and prior interaction with HTA agencies are preferred.Job InfoJob ID:
