Our client is a fast-growing SaaS startup building a cutting-edge creative-operations platform tailored for mobile gaming studios and app marketers. Their technology enables user acquisition (UA) teams to generate, test, and scale 10× more video ads through automation, saving time and improving campaign performance across platforms like Meta, Google, and AppLovin.
They’re working with several mobile app and game studios across Europe and Southeast Asia, backed by a well-capitalized parent company, and led by a founding team with deep expertise in mobile gaming and app marketing.
The platform is positioned to capitalize on the intersection of automation, creative testing, and high-scale UA execution.
Role Overview
As Director of Business Development, you'll lead growth from early traction to ~$1M+ ARR. You’ll drive client acquisition, collaborate with product and tech teams, and lay the foundation for a future GTM team. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the CEO and co-founder.
Key Responsibilities
* New Business Development : Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting to closing, focused on mobile game studios and large-scale app marketers (e.g., FinTech, EdTech, Health).
* Product Feedback Loop : Act as the voice of the customer, translating insights into product and feature recommendations.
* Strategic Partnerships : Activate networks within ad networks (Meta, Google, Unity, TikTok), MMPs (Appsflyer, Adjust), and other ecosystem partners.
* Market Focus : Prioritize European markets, especially Turkey and CEE, where the client has strong relationships and early traction.
* Team Building : Help establish the first BD team and go-to-market infrastructure as ARR milestones are achieved.
* Goal Ownership : Drive approximately 8 new client wins per quarter, support roadmap validation, and contribute to hitting $1M+ ARR.
Experience & Network
* 5-7+ years in B2B SaaS, ad-tech, creative tooling, or user acquisition roles.
* Deep understanding of the UA lifecycle, especially in mobile gaming or performance-based apps.
* Strong network of decision-makers in mobile publishing studios and non-gaming verticals.
Mindset & Skills
* Entrepreneurial, zero-to-one business builder with a hands-on approach.
* Data-savvy and strategically minded, able to lead value-driven conversations.
* Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and iterative environments.
* Collaborative team player capable of influencing roadmap decisions with technical founders.
6-Month Objectives
* Close 6–8 key accounts within target verticals.
* Establish GTM metrics and tracking systems.
* Hire 1–2 early BD or account management team members by end of Q2.
* Contribute to product development through client insights.
Compensation & Location
Fully remote in Turkey or Europe (must overlap EU working hours). Full-time contractor or employee (flexible). Competitive base salary + performance bonus (~25–30%).
