Security Program Manager, Data Center Security
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Operations Security Team is seeking a highly talented and motivated physical Security Program Manager (SPM) to join our team.

The position is responsible for designing, installing, and integrating security systems equipment, including but not limited to Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV Surveillance systems.
The ideal candidate will be willing and able to work across all related disciplines, from technology research to system design, construction oversight, implementation, maintenance, and upgrades. They should possess in-depth knowledge of security technology, be innovative, highly organized, and demonstrate the ability to deliver results on time and within budget.
The SPM is a key member of the European Security team, reporting to the Multi-Cluster Security Program Manager. The role involves supervising compliance with physical security standards, managing security projects, serving on cross-functional teams, and being recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in physical security.
The SPM's success will be measured by their contribution to developing, implementing, and commissioning standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region, focusing on customer service quality, access control effectiveness, and protection of data, employees, and visitors. The role also involves supporting Physical Security Standards and Programs aligned with the Global Physical Security Team's goals, enabling local Security Managers to access related services efficiently.
AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating AWS's global infrastructure, including data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, ensuring continuous customer access to cloud services. We tackle complex problems impacting supply chains and seek talented individuals eager to contribute.
You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and others. Collaboration across AWS is key to maintaining high safety and security standards while providing scalable, cost-effective solutions. Key Job Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and change-outs.
* Ensure compliance with physical security project standards, scopes of work, budgets, and timelines.
* Manage the installation, operation, and maintenance of regional and global physical security systems, working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Prioritize tasks effectively and operate seamlessly across organizational boundaries.
* Support security system equipment commissioning and perform final testing and acceptance.
* Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs of security system equipment.
* Develop and deploy training programs for all users of physical security systems.
* Minimum of five years experience managing the operation and installation of regional or global physical security systems.
* Experience as a Physical Security Program Manager for large, complex installations.
* Advanced knowledge and experience with the Security Integrator industry.
* Certifications: CPP, PSP, or CISSP.
* Strong knowledge in the design of security systems.
* Certification in LenelS2 Access Control Systems.
* Extensive experience in corporate security and workplace safety.
