Responsibilities Lead purchasing activities for projects from kickoff to closure (SOP), ensuring compliance with QCD targets (Quality, Cost, Delivery).
Define sourcing plans, manage the RFQ process (via PuMa/Auctions), and select suppliers based on segment strategy and bundle opportunities.
Coordinate design reviews (S-VRF) to ensure supplier alignment, capture improvements, and secure acceptance of requirements.
Identify critical parts and assess supplier risks (capacity, financial, technical) to develop and record contingency plans.
Anticipate and escalate roadblocks to keep project targets and segment strategies on track.
Pilot the project purchasing index and lead action plans (VP/PTBV) to meet CAA targets and ensure a smooth transfer to serial production.
Maintain PuMa and SAP (Early Open Orders) accuracy, ensuring milestones, contracts, and supplier documentation are properly recorded.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Segment Leaders, and Productivity Buyers to align on localization and global platform needs.
Manage pre-sourcing for advanced projects while protecting Intellectual Property (IP) through contractual safeguards.
Qualifications / Skills Industrial Degree/Master. >3 years experience in purchasing.
Engineering or automotive sector knowledge desirable.
Geographic mobility (on-site position).
Knowledge and passion for the automotive industry; abstraction capacity, lateral and holistic thinking.
Negotiation skills.
English level is mandatory; other languages are a plus.
