The primary objective is to ensure that commissioning processes, including testing, validation, troubleshooting, and final handover, are executed efficiently and meet project specifications. This role involves both technical and organisational responsibilities, ensuring smooth communication between engineering, project management, and wider on-site teams.* Form part of the project realisation team and provide hands-on technical commissioning skills* Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and engineering departments to align commissioning schedules and priorities.* Report commissioning plans, checklists, and protocols based on project requirements.* Report feedback to engineering for continual improvement of commissioning* Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including reports, punch lists, test results, and procedures for client handover.* Supervise and/or conduct equipment and system testing (functional tests, performance tests, and Factory/ Site Acceptance Tests - FAT/SAT).* Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot system issues during commissioning and ensure corrective actions are implemented.* Ensure close technical alliance with technical leads and senior engineers to ensure commissioning solutions are executed uniformly across multiple projects* Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team to build technical competency.* Take active part in team meetings, workshops, and technical reviews.* Ensure that the commissioning phase of the project adheres to safety standards and ensure continual alignment with EHS policy.* Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones, risks, and resolutions.* Lead the final system handover, including training the client on system operations and maintenance. **Education, Knowledge, and Experience:*** You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science* Experience in automation commissioning is an advantage* You are customer-oriented and attach great importance to customer satisfaction* You can work autonomously but also express yourself confidently in a team setting* You have an eye for detail and attach great importance to quality* You are a confident communicator who can express yourself fluently to both internal and external parties* You can express yourself in English (additional languages are a plus)* Ability to work under pressure according to planning deadlines* You are familiar with AutoCAD as 2D Design Package* PLC Knowledge needed – PLC programming a Plus* Knowledge of C++/C# is an advantage### **Work Environment*** Field-based role with extensive travel to project sites in Europe and occasional beyond.* Extended working hours may be required during commissioning phases and critical deadlines.* Possibility to work also during night shifts**KION brands keep the world moving – globally, regionally, and locally.**KION is the Supply Chain Solutions Company.
