Join to apply for the ASSET MANAGER role at Urban Input.
We require an Asset Manager, based in Madrid, to join the Bialto team. The team has been focusing on rolling out the acquisition of around 3,600 turnkey new residential homes from developers in Madrid and Barcelona, most of them already under management. The role will be helping with all tasks related to the set up and ongoing management of the portfolio. Tasks will include:
* Overview and address main issues related to the management of a residential for rent portfolio.
* Lead and frequently meet with the suppliers in charge of the property management, building maintenance, leasing.
* Assist with the setup of planning of tasks for the efficient management of the buildings.
* Setup of the data exchange and format with suppliers, in particular property managers and leasing agents.
* Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting to investors (financial control, technical, leasing, marketing, legal…);
* Ensuring compliance of all buildings for regulatory purposes.
* Preparation, in collaboration with the property manager, of Capex and Opex budgets.
* Proactively seek tenant engagement initiatives and plan their implementation.
* Preparation of ad-hoc analysis and presentations as required;
* Site visits to buildings (currently in Madrid and Barcelona);
* Assist during the due diligence of new acquisitions/projects (mainly in commercial aspects, but also in technical issues when required).
What are we looking for
* We are looking for an organised, proactive and highly reliable person with direct experience as an Asset or Property Manager and the ability to manage multiple tasks and teamwork spirit. The following will be necessary:
* University degree in a relevant field (finance, engineering, architecture, construction, etc.);
* Between 2-4 years of direct experience in real estate asset or property management.
* Advanced level of English (at least FCE - First Certificate in English) and Spanish, written and spoken;
* Comfortable with Excel models (cash flows, pivot tables…) and Power BI.
* A genuine interest in the field of real estate management (preferably in the residential market);
* Interest in sustainability trends;
* Comfortable creating PPT presentations for a demanding professional audience;
