The North Face is looking for an exceptional Key Account Manager to join our team based in our office in Barcelona (Spain) to cover a maternity leave .

Let’s Talk about the Role
You as Key Account Manager will implement key strategies, plans, and drivers towards achieving agreed targets and objectives within our core business categories across the defined Iberia Key Accounts.
You will take on revenue responsibility and manage the defined key accounts. You will also be responsible for implementing the brand's strategic orientation, maintaining customer relationships, and expanding stores and category penetration of existing customers.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
* Driving profitable sales through effective management and leadership of the account base.
* Creating, reviewing, and presenting personalized account plans on a seasonal basis following the distribution channel segmentation strategy. Plans should incorporate current marketplace trends, sales reports, sell-out data, and business evaluations.
* Driving differentiation, innovation, segmentation, and assortments—head to toe. Selling segmented and phased assortments across channels, tiers, months, and brand territories to enable differentiation by Key Accounts using plans, prelines, and SMUs.
* Planning, implementing, and supervising quarterly business review meetings with customers;
including term planning, product assortment planning, and line presentations.
* Driving the monthly and seasonal Gross to Net process across the account base.
* Analyzing sales, sell-out, and performance by item and division;
using this knowledge and trend direction to provide recommendations to maximize opportunities and limit liabilities.
* Establishing an understanding of consumers and buying trends. Formulating guidelines for consumer-centric opportunities, considering different consumer types per POS.
* Managing showroom and samples.
* Driving and facilitating the consumer brand experience within the Iberia Marketing Manager through compelling online and in-store brand presentation.
* Collaborating closely with the product department to develop the right assortment and ensure business decisions are based on accurate sales information.
Skills for Success
* Education:
Bachelor's degree;
a Master's would be an advantage.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with 1-3 years in Key Account Management.
* Strong knowledge of the action sports, sporting goods, or fashion industry is an advantage.
* Deep knowledge of the sporting goods buying groups in the Spanish market.
* Proven influencing skills to work across a complex matrix organization.
* Ability to work strategically within key accounts while managing details.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Task-oriented and high energy, goal-driven individual.
* Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
* Strategic and analytical mindset.
* Ability to prioritize, plan, and work effectively as a team player.
