Primary Position Objectives
The Finance Controller plays a key role in conducting financial analysis and reporting in order to drive financial performance and business decision-making within the CCS organization. This role works closely with the Senior BU Controller CCS to provide insights into sales, operating costs, inventory, margins, and overall financial performance with clear ownership for part of the portfolio. You will take full ownership of financial analysis, forecasting, and business planning for your assigned portfolio while supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner in ensuring overall financial excellence. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders through data-driven insights. You will play a critical role in budgeting, financial modeling, investment appraisals, and risk assessments while continuously improving financial processes and controls.
On this role, your primary responsibilities include:
* Provide financial expertise and insights to drive business decisions, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for growth and profitability within the CCS business.
* Conduct in-depth financial performance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and developing data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making within CCS.
* Drive the development of comprehensive business cases and financial models for product launches, ensuring robust financial insights inform strategic decisions.
* Play a key role in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial plans align with business objectives and support long-term growth.
* Support in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, delivering key insights on financial performance, variances, and trends to senior management.
* Collaborate with the IDT finance team to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic initiatives beyond the CCS scope, fostering cross-functional financial excellence.
* Strengthen and refine financial controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
* Provide advanced financial support for investment appraisals, scenario modeling, and risk assessments, enabling informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.

* Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business priorities. Prior experience in supporting business units, preferably in a matrixed org structure, is desired.

Your profile:
* Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
* 5 years of experience in controlling, financial planning & analysis, or related roles.
* Strong background in business partnering and financial analysis within a multinational or matrixed organization.
* Fluency in spoken and written English; any other languages are an asset (German, French, Chinese).
* Digital-fluent, at ease with Office suite, advanced with Excel, and ideally experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP) and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI).
