**Tactical Data Links Design Office**The activities of the Tactical Data Links Design Office cover the whole process of Data Links Integration: from definition of the interoperability and communication requirements of the Airborne Platforms, to the selection, installation and integration of the required Systems. Not only for current Airbus A/C products like Eurofighter, MRTT, M&L, A400M, Airbus Hellicopters, Eurodrone, etc, but also for the future Systems of Systems, like FCAS.**Interoperability and Tactical Data Links Systems Engineer**The Tactical Data Links to be integrated include: Link 16, Link 22, VMF, JRE, etc. Integration activities will cover the whole life-cycle of each Program:- System Design and requirements management- System functional and interoperability specifications- Equipment HW and installation requirements specification- Equipment interfaces definition- Equipment Suppliers activities monitoring, technical documentation validation- Equipment configuration control- Rig and A/C test results analysis, problems investigation, change proposals- Support to system qualification, verification, validation and certification activitiesAt Airbus, we support you to work, connect and collaborate more easily and flexibly. Wherever possible, we foster flexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking.**Tasks and responsibilities**:- Integration activities related to the Tactical Data Links described above- Ability to identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements- Define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates- Provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements- Attendance to international forums to define the Interoperability and Communication Standards to be considered in future Programs**Requirements**:- Degree in Telecommunications, Aeronautical or Electronic Systems Engineering + Master´s degree in related field- Previous knowledge in Data Links, communication Systems, equipment integration, etc. will be valued- Knowledge on Requirements management tools (DOORS, Rhapsody), Model Based System Engineering, CAMEO, Agile, and DDMS, will be appreciated- Working for international Customers and Contracts, this job will require excellent communication skills, high level of English, active participation in international meetings, negotiation and teamwork capabilities- Availability to travel to international forums- Ability to work independently- Problem-solving skillsNot a 100% match?
