We Do Exhibitions is looking for a freelance Exhibit Designer to help bring to life an immersive experience within an existing space. The concept is a technological showcase resembling a museum exhibit journey across several spaces.
What You'll Do
- Design immersive exhibit zones integrating screens, technical booths and physical components.
- Turn complex tech processes into intuitive, engaging visitor experiences.
- Collaborate with AV teams and architects.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, renders, and spec sheets.
- Ensure design and proposed finishes comply with fit-out and fire-safety guidelines.
- Design for an existing prefabricated modular system — without drilling, ceiling loads, or permanent fixtures.
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in exhibit or spatial design (ideally in museums, expos, events )
- Fluency in tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Vectorworks, or similar.
- Experience integrating screen-based and interactive installations in exhibition spaces.
- Experience working with hybrid constructions combining prefabricated modular systems with custom built installations.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, clarity, and technical understanding.
- English fluency.
