We are looking for a Backend / DevOps Engineer to own and scale the infrastructure, security, and operational backbone of the platform as it grows from early traction to institutional scale.
What You'll Do
* Design, build, and operate scalable production infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP
* Own deployment architecture and runtime environments for execution nodes and backend services
* Build and maintain secure key management systems for API keys, wallets, and exchange integrations
* Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response for mission-critical systems
* Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows (GitHub Actions)
* Optimize infrastructure for reliability, security, performance, and cost
* Collaborate closely with backend engineers supporting execution, settlement, and receipts systems
* Ensure platform stability as the system scales to thousands of autonomous trading agents
* Contribute to infrastructure best practices, automation, and operational documentation
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years of experience in Backend, DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering
* Strong hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
* Solid experience operating systems on AWS and/or GCP
* Security‑first mindset with experience in key management, access control, and secrets handling
* Experience with monitoring and observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or similar)
* Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar
* Experience running production systems with on‑call ownership and incident response
Bonus Points
* Background in fintech, trading systems, or Web3 infrastructure
* Experience supporting high‑frequency or low‑latency systems
* Familiarity with crypto exchanges, wallets, or custody systems
* Experience scaling distributed systems under real financial riskStartup experience or comfort working in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments
