<p><strong> SPAIN – Managing Director, Subsidiary (M/F) | Urban Infrastructure </strong><br> La experiencia que se espera de los solicitantes, así como las habilidades y cualificaciones adicionales necesarias para este trabajo, se enumeran a continuación. <br><p> On behalf of a fast-growing international group, we are recruiting a Managing Director to lead its Spanish subsidiary, operating in road signage equipment and urban infrastructure / public realm solutions. </p><p> Your Mission </p><p> Position the subsidiary as a leading player in Spain, embody the Group’s vision, ambitions and values, strengthen the organisation and operating processes, accelerate commercial momentum, and deliver a rapid return to profitability. </p><p> Key Responsibilities </p><ul><li> Lead and chair the Executive/Management Committee; directly manage the sales team. </li><li> Develop, structure and upskill teams (sales and technical): capabilities, ways of working, performance culture. </li><li> Design and execute marketing and operational action plans to achieve revenue, margin and profitability targets. </li><li> In coordination with Group leadership, build and secure relationships with key accounts, notably international and public-sector clients; negotiate and oversee contract execution through to payment. </li><li> Own the P&L, cash and investment roadmap; ensure transparent, reliable reporting and full legal/compliance oversight for the subsidiary. </li><li> Monitor tenders, regulation and competition; oversee procurement, inbound logistics and local stock levels (parts and equipment). </li></ul><p> Candidate Profile </p><ul><li><strong> Spanish national, currently based in Spain. </strong></li><li> Experienced executive with 5–7+ years as a General Manager, Managing Director, Country Manager, Commercial Director or Operations Director within a national or international group. </li><li> Top-tier education (Business School, Engineering Degree; MBA is a plus). </li><li> Strong experience in business development, operational leadership and P&L management. </li><li> Experience within public works, urban infrastructure, traffic management, road equipment, construction materials, engineering services or related sectors would be highly valued. </li><li> Strong knowledge of the Spanish market; a good understanding of the Basque economic environment would be a significant advantage. </li><li> Hands-on, results-driven leader with strong commercial acumen, rigour, resilience and managerial courage. </li><li> French is a plus. xbhjioe </li></ul><p> <strong> Confidential application / direct approach: </strong> please send your CV together with a short but detailed note outlining your mobility, current compensation package, salary expectations and notice period. </p>
