Compensation: $55–$75/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: ~10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
* Review, evaluate, and annotate AI-generated legal text in Norwegian for accuracy, fluency, and legal alignment.
* Provide expert feedback on grammar, semantics, style, tone, and legal context.
* Develop guidelines and documentation to improve consistency in AI-generated outputs.
* Collaborate with researchers to identify language-specific challenges and edge cases in legal content.
* Suggest improvements for training datasets and linguistic rules related to Norwegian legal material.
Requirements
* Native-level proficiency in Norwegian with strong English fluency.
* Strong understanding of Norwegian grammar, syntax, semantics, and stylistic conventions.
* Ability to identify and correct subtle linguistic, cultural, and legal nuances.
* Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Law, or a related field (advanced degree is a plus).
* Prior experience in legal translation, linguistic annotation, or content review.
