We seek an IT Operations Intern to support our functions:
* Provide 1st Level systems support, maintenance, and administration within our computing environment. Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents for end-users. Implement corrective solutions. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware and software to meet SLAs. Manage customer relationships during the entire support process.
* Respond to incoming calls, Service Desk tickets, and emails regarding IT support.
* Communicate with the IT team to deliver effective IT services. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware and software to meet SLAs. Manage customer relationships during the entire support process.
* Write technical specifications for hardware/software configurations, installations, deployments, and updates within the knowledge database.
* Document instances of desktop equipment or component failure, installation, and removal within the knowledge database.
* Maintain regular office hours and reliable attendance.
* Support local systems.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Eligible for internship
* Upper Intermediate level of conversational English (min.) and native language (Spanish)
* Ability to work individually and collaborate with teams and departments understanding their business needs.
* Technical knowledge of PC desktop hardware and software, including MS Windows, MS Office suites, web browsers, and mobile devices.
* Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
* Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
* Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer keyboards, mice, hand tools, and other computer components.
* Lifting and transporting heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
* Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
* Aid in supporting Microsoft systems, including Server OS, Exchange, and associated applications.
* Aid with inventory processes for computer-related hardware.
