Position Mission
Join Schneider Electric’s R&D team, contributing to the design and redesign of electromechanical equipment in the context of the technological transition toward more sustainable solutions. The role involves applying technical knowledge in electromechanics and 3D design tools to develop innovative solutions aligned with the company’s decarbonization goals.Main Responsibilities
Design and modify electromechanical components and subassemblies using 3D CAD tools (CREO).Prepare and update drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical documentation in accordance with technical specifications and internal standards.Collaborate with multidisciplinary R&D teams on electromechanical equipment design projects.Participate in design reviews, ensuring the quality and feasibility of proposed solutions.Apply drawing standards, industrialization processes, and design best practices.Maintain occasional contact with suppliers regarding technical design aspects.Contribute to the redesign of current technologies within the framework of the decarbonization and digitalization plan.Technical Requirements (Hard Skills)
Technical background in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, or similar.2–3 years of experience in machinery or electromechanical equipment design.Proficiency in 3D design tools:
CREO. SolidWorks is a plus.English level B2 or higher (fluency in technical conversation).Valuable knowledge in office tools (especially Excel) and data analysis.Knowledge of PDM software (Windchill) or ERP (SAP) is a plus.Experience in sectors such as automotive, machine tools, industrial, or tooling is a plus.Personal Competencies (Soft Skills)
