Role Overview
The Building Works Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the operational execution of construction and renovation projects from active works through final delivery.
The role requires strong organizational capability, construction sensitivity, follow-up discipline and excellent communication skills.
You will work closely with:
* Builders and subcontractors
* Architects and technical teams
* Interior design teams
* Purchasing department
* Clients and homeowners
* Property operations and aftercare teams
This role is highly operational and requires physical presence on projects.
Main Responsibilities
Site Coordination
* Coordinate day-to-day progress of building works
* Monitor timelines, milestones and critical path items
* Ensure contractors and suppliers are aligned with schedules
* Detect delays, risks or execution issues early
* Follow up continuously until resolution
Quality Control & Finishing
* Supervise finishes and execution quality
* Coordinate snagging and correction lists
* Ensure installations are completed properly before handover
* Review details with both technical and aesthetic sensitivity
Communication & Reporting
* Prepare clear project updates internally and externally
* Coordinate information flow between all parties
* Maintain organized reporting in Monday and Slack
* Document decisions, pending points and action plans
Supplier & Technical Coordination
* Coordinate deliveries, installations and technical visits
* Follow up on pending materials and procurement timelines
* Organize access and sequencing between trades
Client Experience
* Help maintain a calm and professional experience for clients
* Support walkthroughs and project reviews
* Ensure final delivery standards reflect the company’s level of quality

Preferred Background

* Understanding of construction sequencing and site logistics
* Ability to read plans and technical documentation
* Experience coordinating multiple suppliers and trades
* Fluent Spanish and English required
* Additional languages (Dutch or French) are a plus
* Experience with Monday, Slack and digital coordination tools is appreciated
