Job Purpose
* Manage the performance of assigned contract manufacturers.
* Ensure timely and complete delivery from contract manufacturers at favorable sourcing conditions.
* Establish and maintain the necessary business and legal framework between CMOs and STADA.
* Represent ESO in cross-functional meetings to align STADA's position.
Responsibilities
* Manage external manufacturing organizations, including contractual oversight.
* Support initiation and negotiation of supply agreements with contract manufacturers.
* Establish strategic relationships with third-party suppliers and act as the primary contact for collaborations.
* Lead regular Business Review meetings with senior stakeholders to review performance and identify improvement strategies.
* Drive continuous improvement in business relationships.
* Collaborate on forecasting, production planning, and supply chain activities to ensure supply continuity.
* Act as the primary contact for resolving supply chain and technical issues affecting timely supply or contractual obligations.
* Identify supply risks proactively and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Lead activities to manage and execute risk mitigation plans.
* Coordinate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
* Review sourcing conditions, challenge costs, and identify optimization opportunities.
* Evaluate, initiate, and track product transfers (site-to-site, insourcing).
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, manufacturing technology, economics, or engineering.
* At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or related GMP-regulated industries.
* Over 5 years of experience managing external suppliers, with expertise in business analysis and manufacturing cost structures.
* Proven experience managing external manufacturers is advantageous.
Language Skills
* Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
* Knowledge of Spanish, German, or other European languages is a plus.
