Your Tasks.
* Support of our internal development infrastructure (CI/CD systems, SCM Git and SVN, Artefact repositories (Nexus), etc.)
* Administration of our internal DNS and developer accounts
* Responsibility for the maintenance of our internal Java development environments (Servlet Container - Tomcat)
* Active administrative maintenance of Jira / Confluence
* Maintenance of our internal Oracle development environments
* Acting as a multiplier for internal team knowledge transfer
Experience.
* Several years of professional experience as a software engineer / DevOps or as an IT system administrator
* Completed studies in computer science, training as an IT specialist for application development or career changer with relevant professional experience
* Practical experience in the administration of classic systems and environments, such as Linux (Debian, Red Hat Enterprise), Oracle databases (hosting) and Oracle Middleware as well as VMWare ESX Cluster
* Solid understanding of working with Docker based infrastructures (Docker Compose, Kubernetes).
* Experience with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab-CI)
Interest and ideally some experience working with cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Oracle
* Team player qualities and an open and communicative nature with an independent and conscientious approach to work as well as qualitative results
* A high demand for structured work as well as qualitative results
* Very good written and spoken English
