As a senior sourcing manager you will be responsible for implementing the sourcing strategy for the local categories of Marketing & Events, Market Access, Strategic consulting and Market Resarch. In close collaboration with other souring managers, you will play a major role in building on our foundation: category management, regional sourcing initiatives, business partnering, talent & skills, supplier management, digitalization, performance management, S2P processes & tools, risk management & sustainability. As a team member, you will aid in driving purchasing savings and by contributing to top-line growth by delivering impacting Business Partner initiatives as well as innovative pipeline projects.Your main duties will be:- Identify and evaluate existing and potential local suppliers as well as the establishment and maintenance of supplier relations.- Bring potential innovation to BI and local market intelligence.- Implement complex Category Strategy following Integral instructions and develop them locally where needed- Accountable for identifying, evaluating and classifying sourcing risks and devise risk mitigation measures.- Manage local Business Partners actively and collaborate in order to align common goals.- Lead and coordinate transversal projects where deemed necessary.- Coordinate Business Partner Demands within Sourcing and ensure that relevant information is shared and Business Partner is supported adequately.- Manage issues on a daily basis with respect to the categories including internal/external partners issues etc.- Leverage sourcing tools (including e-bidding (SAP Ariba), parallel negotiation etc...).- Optimize buying channels and leverage market opportunities.- Take accountability to assure guidelines and best practices of Legal, Compliance, Pharmacovigilance are followed as well as compliance with FarmaIndustria and VetIndustria**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration or Digital/Marketing or similar experience.- At least 3 years of professional experience in Sourcing, preferably in the Indirect and Common categories.- Solid knowledge of tendering procedures and market and supplier analysis.- Strong focus on negotiating to obtain both savings and improve efficiencies.- Hands-on experience with project management.- Experience in Pharmaceutical industry or Consumer goods industry.- Experience working in an international and intercultural environment.- Advanced level of spoken and written English.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills as well as excellent analytical thinking, open mindset, thinking out-of-the-box with innovative ideas.- #IamBoehringerIngelheim because _- With us, you can grow, collaborate, innovate and improve lives.
