Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Configuration Manager to drive, maintain, and optimize configuration and build management processes within a modern Azure DevOps / Git-based development environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and quality of software delivery pipelines, supporting global development teams in a highly regulated and international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the design, implementation, optimization, and documentation of configuration and build management workflows in an Azure DevOps / Git-based environment
- Operate, monitor, and continuously improve the build and test infrastructure, including repositories, pipelines, and build servers
- Identify, analyze, and resolve issues within Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes
- Create and maintain system builds and installation packages, including troubleshooting build failures and validating system images through bring-up testing
- Support and actively participate in the release management process, including design transfer activities and control sample verification in collaboration with SCM
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials to support development teams
- Provide expert support to international development teams, with a focus on cross-site collaboration (e.g., China and India)
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Solid experience with Azure Pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Strong knowledge of Git-based version control systems
- Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash
- Proven background in Configuration Management within software development environments
- In-depth expertise in Windows-based systems within product environments (beyond end-user level)
- Experience administering Windows and Linux servers
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., Proxmox, Hyper‑V)
- Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker
- Strong knowledge of build tools such as MSBuild and CMake
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
