Your missionNo espere a enviar su solicitud después de leer esta descripción; se espera un gran volumen de candidaturas para esta oportunidad.Ferrer is looking for a Corporate Government Affairs Lead to join our Corporate Patient Advocacy and Public Affairs Team. This role is key to shaping and executing Ferrer’s public affairs strategy at a corporate level, with a strong focus on rare diseases and high‑value therapies. You will be responsible for driving Ferrer’s voice and positioning in the external policy environment, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring that the needs of patients and healthcare systems are reflected in policy and regulatory frameworks. You will work cross‑functionally to align internal priorities with external opportunities and help shape a sustainable and equitable healthcare ecosystem.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of Ferrer’s corporate public and government affairs strategy, aligned with our purpose and business priorities.Monitor and shape the evolving policy landscape in rare diseases and high‑value therapies in Ferrer’s operating territories, with special focus on EU, UK, and LATAM.Identify and act on opportunities to influence policy, regulation, and funding frameworks that support access, innovation, and sustainability.Build and maintain strong relationships with policymakers, regulatory bodies, trade associations, think tanks, and NGOs.Represent Ferrer in key industry and policy forums, ensuring our voice is heard in relevant debates and initiatives.Collaborate with Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs), healthcare professionals, and other ecosystem actors to co‑create evidence‑based policy positions.Work closely with Patient Advocacy, Market Access, Medical Affairs, R&D;, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment between internal strategies and external policy goals.Support the development of multistakeholder policy reports and advocacy campaigns that reflect Ferrer’s commitment to patient‑focused innovation.Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on public affairs risks and opportunities.Why Ferrer?Make a positive impact in societyGrow in a culture of trust, responsibility, and constructive feedbackEnjoy a flexible working model & collaborative office experience to enable innovation and teamworkingMake a real difference to the team and to yourselfTake advantage of opportunities for development & learningDiscover a range of benefits to support your physical, emotional and financial wellbeingCustomize your remuneration and benefitRequirementsWhat you’ll need to succeed: you will rock at this company if you are a person with empathy, humility, curiosity and optimism.Background: Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Law, Life Sciences, Public Health or related field. Master’s degree in Public Policy, Health Economics or similar is a plus.Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in public / government affairs roles in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector. Proven track record in shaping policy and regulatory environments, ideally in rare diseases or high‑value therapies.Technical Skills: Deep understanding of EU and national healthcare policy frameworks, with awareness of integral issues. Strong knowledge of the rare disease ecosystem and access challenges. Experience in developing and executing public affairs strategies and stakeholder engagement plans. Excellent communication, negotiation and storytelling skills. Ability to translate complex policy issues into actionable strategies. Strategic thinker with a proactive and purpose‑driven mindset. Influential leader and trusted advisor, able to navigate complex environments. Collaborative and agile, with strong interpersonal and cross‑cultural skills. Resilient, adaptable and committed to continuous learning.Languages: Fluent English.
