Senior Cloud Engineer The Medical Devices Group is seeking a Computer Science / Electronics Engineer to join our Medical Products Group in the Emerging Business Unit. We are looking for talented engineers in electronic engineering or computer science to join our Cloud and Systems Integration team. This role provides a broad perspective of the entire project, with cloud technologies serving as the backbone linking developments within the group. You will interact with multiple teams to contribute to seamless system integration, spanning hardware prototyping, radio communications, cloud-based backend solutions, frontend development, and web applications. The team collaborates on clinical trials, supporting real-world testing and validation of technologies. The environment is multidisciplinary and collaborative, offering opportunities to work where hardware meets software and research meets application. Key Responsibilities Collaboration in the implementation of containerized cloud services for medical devices.
Collaboration in the development of a web app for managing devices and clinical data.
Participate in demos and user acceptance tests.
Required Skills Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Extensive experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) in a professional environment.
Strong experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience in a software development environment.
Experience with agile methodologies (Jira, etc.).
Comfort working on a diverse team with local and distributed teammates.
Knowledge of, and comfort with, general principles of the SDLC.
Strong problem solving and analytical design skills.
Preferred Skills Familiarity with electronic schematics.
Experience in UI/UX and visual style.
Expertise with standard design tools (InVision, Figma, Sketch, Illustrator).
Ability to render designs in HTML, JS, CSS.
Experience designing mobile interfaces and responsive web.
Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments.
