Porto Petro, Mallorca – Spain






ABOUT THE RESORT


5 -star international resort located in Porto Petro (Mallorca), offering high -volume and premium culinary operations designed for an international guest profile. The property delivers elevated buffet, Ã la carte and live -cooking experiences aligned with seasonal leisure resort standards.






ROLE PURPOSE


The Chef de Cuisine oversees the culinary production of the assigned kitchen operation, ensuring product quality, menu execution, staff coordination and food cost discipline. The role acts as a hands -on leader who mentors the kitchen brigade while maintaining high culinary standards throughout the season.






KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations.


• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation and flavor according to standards.


• Coordinate mise -en -place, production timelines and service execution.


• Train, motivate and guide kitchen staff across multiple stations.


• Assist in menu development and seasonal adjustments.


• Maintain hygiene, food safety and HACCP compliance at all times.


• Control inventory, stock rotation and order requests.


• Communicate effectively with Sous Chefs and F&B; management.


• Monitor food waste and contribute to food cost efficiency.


• Support collaboration between kitchen and service teams to optimize guest experience.






REQUIREMENTS


• Proven experience as Chef de Cuisine, Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a resort, hotel or high -volume seasonal environment.


• Experience in international culinary environments.


• High operational discipline with attention to detail and timing.


• Ability to lead, train and coordinate multi -national kitchen teams.


• Able to perform under seasonal workload and peak service periods.


• English required (intermediate level). Spanish valued.


• Legal right to work in the EU or valid permit for Spain.






COMPENSATION & BENEFITS


• 3.500€ gross monthly salary


• Full -time seasonal contract (April–November)


• Meals provided during working hours


• Transportation provided






HOUSING OPTIONS


• Optional shared accommodation: 400€/month


• Optional private accommodation: 800€/month






CONTRACT DETAILS


• Seasonal contract: April to November


• International guest environment


• Full -time schedule
