**A Day In The Life**:
**Essential Functions**:
- Create test plans and test procedures from functional specification, different standards and design documents to validate the Hardware of different products: residential meters, line sensors and other Protection and control for substation devices.
- Define a Quality Matrix, including all the certifications needed for each of the new products, ensuring all products are compliant to the regulations of the country being sold at. Design a Pre Certification test plan, including all the internal testing needed to assure the compliance of these certifications.
- Interpret and present test results / metrics to project team in an effective manner.
- Verify resolution of resolved defects and lead in root cause analysis of reported defects.
- Coordinate with the different labs where the different certifications will be tested: reserve slots, ensure they have the documentation and devices needed, resolve any issue generated during the execution of the certification tests and manage the certification test reports.
- Review and develop test records / logs / certificate documents.
- Ensure test records are accurate and complete.
- Lead the internal Lab in Bilbao: assure all the people work in a safe way, keep the lab clean and tidy and internal control of the different equipment calibration.

Required:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) and use statistical analysis to validate different devices.
- Experience working in an environment with strict quality procedures.

Preferred:
- Proficiency in other languages (French, Portuguese, Italian, etc).

- Trained in hardware quality assurance procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of AMI communication technologies.
