This position involves the crucial task of defining architectures, orchestrating services and systems, and developing requirements for our groundbreaking project. Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement sophisticated ground segment systems essential for the operation of space missions.
2. Define and develop secure communication protocols using quantum cryptography principles to enhance the security of satellite communications.
3. Orchestrate the integration of ground stations, networks, and data processing facilities to ensure seamless communication with satellites and the successful operation of space missions.
4. Collaborate with a diverse team of experts to innovate and advance the technology and methodologies used in the ground segment and quantum cryptography.
5. Lead the project in defining detailed technical requirements and ensuring the interoperability, security, and data protection of ground segment systems.
What you bring along:
6. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
7. Over 5 years of extensive experience in Ground Segment engineering, with a specific focus on the design, development, and implementation of ground segment systems.
8. Deep understanding of satellite communication protocols, ground station operations, and network architecture.
9. Significant knowledge of Ground Segment systems, protocols, and standards, with an emphasis on ensuring interoperability, security, and data protection.
10. Experience in the space domain, particularly with projects and methodologies specified by the European Cooperation for Space Standardization (ECSS).
11. Ability to support technical aspects of marketing and sales teams, including customer presentations, demos, and proposal preparation.
12. Exceptional problem-solving skills and proficiency in working within a collaborative international team environment.
13. Strong communication abilities to articulate complex technical concepts to a diverse array of stakeholders.
