Job DescriptionJob Description: A vacancy for an IT Technology Specialist/Solution Architect for Document Management Solutions has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space Digital. The successful applicant will join the domain TDBAD in bringing to life the Digital strategy on Document Management Systems & Digital Archiving Solutions. Key Responsibilities
Participate in all phases of the user application development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support.
Participate in all phases of migration development: analyse data to be migrated, design bulk upload strategies, and implement solutions for these processes.
Participate in all phases of long‐term archiving of documentation stored in our systems: analyse data to be stored, determine storage time, and implement and support solutions.
Define the development strategy and secure integration of solutions across applications, systems and platforms to achieve business objectives.
Perform technical/functional design of application and infrastructure components of new solutions according to the defined functional design.
Actively contribute to the further development and deployment of the digital document management strategy for Airbus Defence and Space.
Work closely with subcontracted companies, defining tasks, and monitoring and assisting in the delivery of developments on time, within budget and quality standards.
Collaborate with Service Owners and Product Managers inside Digital and on the supplier side.
Requirements
Educated to a master level (or with at least 5 years of experience) in Information Technology or any other engineering discipline with IT context.
Deep understanding of document management systems, content management systems, digital signature or similar (more than 3 years of experience).
High capacity for organizing one's own work and organising teams to accomplish tasks.
Desired technical skills: FileNet (storage, process management, and long‐term archiving), databases, Java technologies (Java programming, Angular, widgets, Java‐scripts, EJB, webservice, Maven, Ant), knowledge of WebSphere application server or UNIX server management are a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders, including end‐users, subcontractors and technical teams.
Willingness to learn continuously.
Experience in change management and user adoption strategies for new processes and tools is a plus.
Experience in facilitating discussions and workshops to gather requirements and resolve issues is a plus.
Language skills: English at negotiation level – German, French and/or Spanish is a plus.
