At Airbus Defence and Space, the domain 'Integration Test & Analysis' in Getafe (Spain) is looking for additional staff in the perimeter of Human Factors Engineering Testing within the Avionics and Mission Systems area supporting cross-program activities. The successful applicant will become part of the team based in Getafe (although depending on programs' workload it may also require support to testing activities during short-mid periods of time in other sites as Seville, Manching, Air Force Bases, etc.).

The COC 'Flight & Integration Test Centre', in the engineering cluster 'Aircraft and Systems' from Airbus Defence and Space, is responsible for the planning, preparation and implementation of all integration test activities at subsystem, system and A/C level as well for analysing test data and reporting results and providing the necessary evidence.

In addition, it develops, produces, qualifies and supplies all the test means necessary to carry out all types of tests;

We are currently looking for a Test Specialist (mainly devoted to Human Factors), within Integration Test & Analysis scope, for the Spanish perimeter of TADVA at Getafe site, who will help us to prepare, support, execute, analyze and report all related Human Factor test activities on sub-system/system and A/C level for avionics and mission integration scope in accordance with the requirements of the program-specific V&V; plans in a technical work environment with continuously increasing complexity.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
\n
Within Test Integration & Analysis perimeter, the jobholder will act as Test Specialist for Human Factors across all platforms (excluding Eurofighter), located in Getafe, covering from Simulators, Subsystem Rigs (Labs) to Aircraft Ground & Flight test activities, reporting directly to the HO TADVA10 as well as to HO Test Integration & Analysis (TADVA) and Test Program managers.

Support Integrated Test Team forum within activities scope.
\n
Support for development, certification, qualification and production activities according to Test Program requirements. Ensure & support appropriate V&V; strategy for these activities. Follow-up of test progress.
\n
Participate in the elaboration of Test planning;
\n
Review, optimize and challenge Test Requests.
\n
Coordinate with Test Framework and instrumentation domain to define proper means for required data reduction, monitoring and analysis.
\n
Interface with DO, AW and certification authorities, supporting test activities on certification meetings, write Certification/Qualification Cards and test plans and Certification/Qualification Test Reports.
\n
Assistance to Flight Test Engineer in preparation of Flight Test or simulator sessions: Supporting FTE to write and/or prepare flight test order ;
\n
Follow test in telemetry and provide safety monitoring when needed;
\n
Follow-up and provide expertise of test data reduction and detailed analysis;
\n
Organization of external Flight Test campaigns.
\n
Interface and coordination with Test Integrators, Design Offices, Chief Engineering Office and Program Offices. Provide expertise to system architecture and design definition from a Human Factors' point of view'
\n
Provide analysis and validation support of A/C limitations
\n
Write and/or analyze Snags providing the rationale for its closure or requesting design modifications
\n
Optimize test data analysis methodologies and procedures and manage priorities.

REQUIRED SKILLS
\n
We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in Human Factor aspects within Integration Testing (Simulators/RIG/AC Level) and the following skills and experience:

Knowledge of common Human Factors concepts as Workload, Situational Awareness, uasability, HMI, errors management, fatigue, ergonomics... and the way to assess them

Knowledge of Human Factors Test Scales and Evaluation Methodologies (Bedford, NASA TLX, ISA, ..)
