Purpose
Ensure the successful delivery of business insights that drive the company's strategic objectives. This role requires a keen analytical mind, a deep understanding of data analysis, AI, visualization techniques and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies. The ideal candidate will be both technically proficient and an effective communicator, capable of working collaboratively across teams.
Your ‘day to day’
* Analyze datasets from various sources to uncover trends and actionable insights
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence (BI) tools to support decision-making
* Develop and integrate AI solutions to automate data processing, forecast trends, and optimize business processes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Manufacturing, Prod Development, Leaf, Finance) to understand business needs and formulate analytical, automation or process improvement opportunities leveraging data analytics, or machine learning/AI
* Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business processes, drive revenue, and optimize costs
* Lead or participate in projects that require insights that employ both traditional analytics and AI applications
* Work closely with the systems governance team to ensure data integrity, efficient data pipeline (availability, quality, integration)
Who we’re looking for
* Data Analysis & Statistical Techniques: Proficiency in statistical analysis and quantitative methods to derive insights from data
* Ability to design and develop dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
* Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and scripting
* Hands-on experience with machine learning to build predictive models.
* Advanced skills in Excel (including macros)
* Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving continuous improvements
* Ability to approach complex business problems with creativity and transform analytical insights into strategic recommendations
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to manage several initiatives simultaneously and adhere to deadlines
* Ability to understand business processes and the economic impact of data driven decisions
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Sciences, Statistics, Economics or similar. Certifications in data analytics, data science or AI, business intelligence, or project management are a plus
* 3+ years of experience in a data analysis or business analytics role with exposure to AI projects
* Proven track record of translating analytical insights into business strategy
