About this Position
The goal of the position is to contribute to product development by conducting standardized biological efficacy tests and generating high-quality data to support regulatory and internal decision-making.
What you´ll do
* Responsible for maintaining and managing the Biological Laboratory, including testing facilities, installations, and equipment.
* Design, conduct, and interpret biological efficacy tests based on real biological performance (not theoretical models), and optimize prototype performance accordingly.
* Select and apply appropriate testing protocols to generate results that closely reflect real conditions of use, providing robust scientific support for product label claims.
* Evaluate product performance against relevant insect species under the environmental and operational conditions foreseen for market launch.
* Apply validated standard protocols and develop new testing methodologies when existing methods are insufficient.
* Maintain and expand technical expertise through continuous review of scientific literature, regulatory guidance, and emerging trends in household insect control.
* Plan, organize, and coordinate biological testing activities to ensure alignment with project timelines.
* Propose technical and biological design improvements to enhance product efficacy.
* Conduct competitive benchmarking to position products against market alternatives.
* Prepare clear technical reports on study design, results and project process
* Compile, maintain, and update complete biological reports and product files for regulatory submission and internal reference.
* Contribute actively to the generation of new ideas, concepts, and innovation initiatives within the R&D Insecticides Project Funnel.
