Barcelona DC is one of the key Coty Distribution Center, we are shipping goods all around the world, we are looking for a Transport Coordinator, that bring rigor and expertise on the control, planning and execution of a very demanding Local and International loading plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Transport Coordinator, you are responsible for managing the overall Barcelona Transport system:
coordination, control, and carrier management. You will be overseeing the shipping processes from the start till the end - on how to make them more efficient.
**Your main focus**:
Transport planning, execution & follow-up across the globe, incl. root causing & action planning. Coordination with the DC operations to maximize loading efficiency. Coordination with Control Tower Carrier management (eg. KPI control, action planning and follow up.) Coordination with GTM organizations to meet customers transport requirements. Maximize transport efficiency. Control and follow up expected transport cost. Support Transport RCCP Process Definition and leadership of smaller, local transportation related projects, e.g cost saving opportunities, continuous improvement projects,Support execution of broader transport projects Leading Transport Coordination meetings, including issue resolution. Reporting & utilization of different transport management systems

You like to work with numbers, take under ad hoc projects and create reports. As a Transport Coordinator, you are a leader in a team, and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:
Degree in Industrial engineering with clear interest in Supply Chain Ability to collaborate with different organizations across the globe and strong communication skills Experience managing transport execution processes. Experience in KPI reporting and follow up. Experience in cost and process improvement proces Fluency in English and Spanish both written and oral Commercial awareness and solid GTM experience SAP knowledge at advanced user level Service Provider Governance Team management experience Leadership of smaller projects
