This senior leadership role will define and execute the strategic roadmap for retail lending products, across both digital and traditional channels, while ensuring profitability, capital efficiency, and regulatory compliances. /p pThe ideal candidate will bring a strong background in digital banking, product management, credit risk, and capital management, with a proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive innovation in a highly regulated environment. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the retail lending business for private clients in Deutsche Bank Spain, covering mortgages and consumer finance products, as well as defining and executing the end‑to‑end strategy for retail lending, integrating digital innovation, customer‑centric design, and capital efficiency. /li liOversee the full lifecycle of lending products, including pricing, risk appetite, and profitability; monitoring portfolio performance and leading the development of new lending propositions. /li liChampion the use of AI / ML, open banking, and digital identity to enhance credit decisioning and customer journeys, collaborating with technology, UX, and data teams to deliver seamless digital lending experiences. /li liEnsure compliance with local and EU regulations, working closely with Treasury (FTP) and Risk (RWAs / TCDs), and representing Retail Lending in governance forums. /li liLead and develop a high‑performing team of product managers, analysts, and credit specialists, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liProven leadership skills and 8+ years in retail lending, with a proven track record in launching digital lending products and managing PL. /li liDeep understanding of mortgage and consumer finance products, digital lending platforms, credit risk models, and capital / RWA optimization, with strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks. /li liProficient in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SAS, SQL) and Microsoft Office Suite. /li liFluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken). /li liStrong academic foundation in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus. /li /ul h3Well‑being Benefits /h3 ul liEmotionally and mentally balanced: We support you in dealing with life crises, maintaining stability through illness, and maintaining good mental health.
