Senior Market Analyst (Renewables) EMEA
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Market Analyst to conduct in-depth research within the European, Middle East, and African renewables markets, and to develop market strategies for the EMEA region. Position Overview
The Senior Market Analyst, Renewables, EMEA leads market research and strategic intelligence efforts across the European, Middle East, and African renewables markets. With deep expertise in solar and storage, the role provides insights into industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscapes. This involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to support strategic decision-making, service development, and delivery. The Senior Market Analyst collaborates with internal teams to ensure high-quality data reporting and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
* Track and interpret industry trends, regulatory/policy changes, and market dynamics.
* Monitor project development pipelines, supply chain activity, and emerging technologies.
* Maintain databases on key market players, manufacturers, and supply chain dynamics.
* Analyze and compare market players, including manufacturers and developers, assessing their competitive positioning.
* Develop and maintain benchmarking models for pricing, supply chain risks, and market share evaluations.
* Present findings clearly and tailor content to different audiences (e.g., clients, technical teams).
* Act as lead consultant on market intelligence consulting projects.
* Conduct detailed industry and market studies, including benchmarking and comparative analysis.
* Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges during project implementation.
* Provide expert advice to clients.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assemble relevant data and prepare market reports.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, market research, or related field.
* Certifications in Market Research or equivalent preferred.
* At least 5-8 years of experience in the renewables industry and market analysis sector.
* Deep knowledge of photovoltaics, energy storage, and wind markets, especially in Europe.
* Competence in using data analytics tools to manage and analyze data.
