The Global eBusiness Manager is responsible for developing and managing the digital journey for Hyperion customers and helping ensure a seamless customer experience from marketing initiatives, through demand generation and opportunity conversion. The General eBusiness Manager is responsible for: 1) Serving as the marketing expert for our web content, including marketing initiatives, content building for search engines and eCommerce, 2) overseeing the management of key vendors related to our web platforms to ensure efficient and effective deployment of our digital initiatives, and 3) developing and implementing strategies to improve our online presence and demand generation.
- **This position can be based in Columbus or Barcelona, or can be remote in the Eastern or Central Time Zones in the US.**
**Specific responsibilities**
- Develops and drives the direction and roadmap of our digital marketing platforms, including the website, eCommerce platform, digital advertising and social media programs based on our desired customer journey.
- Serves as the expert on our eCommerce platform and manages onboarding of new businesses onto the platform where appropriate.
- Drives VOC and works to develop continuous improvements to the Hyperion eCommerce solution.
- Collaborates with business owners to drive web-based lead generation strategies for each business and measures KPIs accordingly.
- Ensures the execution of a web strategy that drives demand across the various product lines and geographies in which Hyperion Materials & Technologies does business. This may include engaging with our country organizations and external consultants to ensure market-appropriate initiatives for countries where Google is not the main search engine.
- Develops and monitors analytics and key performance indicators, reports on these indicators for senior leadership and adjusts marketing programs where necessary to drive growth.
- Works to implement marketing automation programs to support our digital marketing efforts, including lead scoring and automated nurturing initiatives.
- Aligns with IT and our external consultants to shape the future of our web programs to simplify integration in the future and support the on-boarding of future brands.
- Where necessary, drafts content for the website.
- Ensures our web presence aligns with global requirements for privacy, including GDPR.

- BS/MS Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications, MIS or similar.
- 5+ years working in a digital marketing function with responsibility for SEO, SEA and other demand generation channels.
- Involvement in a website implementation project a plus, including developing personas and creating journey maps for web users.
- Use of Episerver CMS is a preferred, but experience with other Content Management Systems is ok.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate business requirements, drive change and work with others to achieve results. The ability to influence key stakeholders globally is a key to success in this role.
- Self-starter, highly motivated with excellent business-wide communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and with SEM assessment tools such as SEM Rush, ahrefs or similar is required. Google Analytics experience is preferred.
- Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of technical products.
- Experience collaborating with various stakeholders and 3rd party consultants in a global environment a plus.
