We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Executive to join a growing team in Spain. The ideal candidate will bring solid expertise in enterprise B2B sales, with a proven ability to generate and manage their own pipeline and close complex deals — with a particular focus on the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) sector.
This role is key to supporting ongoing expansion across the Spanish market and beyond. We are seeking someone passionate about business development, who can build long-term client relationships and drive revenue growth through innovative technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
* Define and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for advanced tech solutions within the Spanish market, targeting large-scale B2B clients in the banking and financial services sector.
* Build and qualify opportunities from scratch using both internal tools and your professional network.
* Own the entire sales cycle (e. g. MEDDIC methodology), from lead to close, and continue working on upselling and cross-selling post-sale.
Client Relationship Management
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, across major organizations in the BFSI sector.
Business Development
* Actively prospect and engage with potential clients, leveraging your market knowledge and network to position our solutions as a trusted partner.
Contract Negotiation & Closing
* Lead high-value deal negotiations and manage all stages of the sales process, ensuring both customer satisfaction and long-term partnership success.
Market Expertise
* Apply in-depth knowledge of the BFSI sector to tailor commercial messaging and demonstrate the business value of our solutions.
Internal Collaboration
* Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure proper onboarding and alignment with client expectations.
* Maintain accurate forecasts, track KPIs, and report regularly on pipeline health, opportunities, and results to senior leadership.
International Expansion Support
* Collaborate with global teams and contribute to international growth strategies, particularly in cross-border BFSI projects.
Requirements
* Solid understanding of the enterprise sales cycle in the financial services industry, including lead generation, qualification, RFPs, and deal closure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
* Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) is essential.
* Proven track record in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
* Previous experience managing or mentoring sales teams is a plus.
* Ability to understand complex tech solutions and articulate their business value to clients.
