What will be your mission?
The IT Procurement Trainee position offers hands-on experience in procurement processes within the IT department. You will work closely with the IT Procurement Manager and team members to ensure effective purchasing of IT equipment and services. Responsibilities include supporting procurement activities, conducting market research, reviewing purchase requests, and maintaining vendor relationships.
What will you do?
* Review Jira requests for purchasing new PCs or renewals.
* Determine if requests are for renewals or new equipment and proceed accordingly.
* Prepare and send orders to suppliers.
* Review inventory per hotel for renewals.
* Process requests for returning expired rented equipment.
* Coordinate equipment orders for hotel openings in advance of opening dates.
* Communicate equipment movements between hotels and suppliers to ensure correct billing and avoid incidents.
* Review service billing files and assist in re-billing hotels.
* Support in resolving service billing incidents.
* Respond to hotel inquiries about order statuses.
* Manage requests and orders for peripherals (monitors, keyboards, mice, switches, pen tablets, document readers, etc.).
What are we looking for?
* High school diploma.
* Fluency in the local language; knowledge of English is highly valuable.
* Working knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office, TMS, etc.).

Conditions
The position is based at the Central Office in Madrid, Spain (Santa Engracia 120, 7th floor). The internship lasts for 1 full year, full-time.
