Chem Pharma & Energy designs, manufactures, and markets a wide range of flow solutions including process valves, actuators, pumps, and pipes under industry leading brands, to global customers in refining, chemical, pharmaceutical and energy industries.

The Croning foundry – located in Ravne, Slovenia – is a European steel foundry with deep historical roots that specializes in steel castings produced using the Croning (shell moulding) method alongside other sand technologies.

Today it operates within the CRANE Chem Pharma & Energy group, supplying complex steel castings for valves, pumps, and industrial applications.

About the position The Sales Manager – Castings is responsible for developing and managing sales of foundry castings across Europe.

The post holder will focus on driving incremental business and share gain in a range of markets including amongst chemical and industrial customers, building long-term relationships and growing volumes for the foundry.

Main responsibilities: Develop and execute a sales strategy for castings across assigned European territories Identify and win new customers and projects, including lead generation, quote support and project follow up Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, quoting, negotiation, and contracting Present the foundry technically to target customers, xpzdshu and represent the foundry at trade fairs Achieve revenue, margin, and volume targets Education & Experience: Required: Degree in Engineering, Metallurgy or Materials Science 5+ years B2 B sales experience in castings or metal components Strong technical understanding of foundry processes Strong negotiation and communication skills Customer-focused and results-driven Preferred: Additional European language – German strongly preferred Experience working with foundry sales or in a foundry environment
