At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for a QA Engineer to join the QA Team within the Applications, Projects & Testing department and work on digital B2C platforms (e-commerce websites, mobile applications, editorial platforms)for an international IT company specialized in information systems for the rail and mobility industry.
Main responsibilities:
- Analyze business and functional requirements, specifications and User Stories
- Define and implement test strategies and coverage matrices
- Design, execute and maintain test plans and test cases
- Prepare and manage test data
- Perform functional, integration and API testing
- Log, track and follow up defects using dedicated tools
- Report testing progress and quality indicators
- Write test summary reports / validation reports
- Maintain regression test suites
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide level 1 application support when required
Who are you?
- More than 5 years of experience as a QA / Test Engineer in digital environments
- Strong experience in functional and techno-functional testing
- Good knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tools)
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- English: fluent (mandatory)
- Spanish: fluent (mandatory)
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps is a plus
- Katalon experience is a plus
- ISTQB certification is a plus
- French is a strong plus
