Taylor Hopkinson is looking for a Business Developer on behalf of a fast-growing renewable energy startup based in Barcelona.
Responsibilities
* Identify and reach out to potential clients.
* Evaluate leads before passing them to Account Executives.
* Explore untapped market segments and update the customer database accordingly.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions.
* Work closely with technical and data teams to support the improvement of renewable energy solutions.
* Provide regular updates on KPIs and market trends to the Head of Sales.
Requirements
* 1–3 years of experience in a lead generation role (e.g., BDR, SDR) in a SaaS or technical environment.
* Fluent in English, plus either French or German (other EU languages are a plus).
* Strong initiative, energy, and sense of ownership.
* Ability to grasp technical products and communicate their value.
* Proficient in CRM platforms; knowledge of lead-gen tools is a plus.
* Experience managing stakeholders.
