This is a path we can only take together – join in!Location: Madrid, Spain (Hybrid)Purpose of the Role:You are part of the security team and responsible for the further development of the IT security strategy, both for our customers and internally at A1 Digital.Key Responsibilities:As a Senior Expert Information Security, you will take on technical responsibility in customer projects, supporting our customers in the following areas:Development and maintenance of security guidelines and co-design of the company-wide security strategyIdentifying, evaluating, and managing information security risksRegular protection needs analyses with subsequent derivation of measuresFurther development and operational implementation of an information security management system (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001Planning and conducting audits, or providing support for certifications in the area of information security (such as ISO27001, NIS audits, DORA, TISAX)Conducting customer workshops and actively participating in internal and external committeesStrategic customer consulting in the area of IT security architectures (including IT/IoT/OT system designs)Creation of individual security concepts and solutionsSupport in compliance with legal requirements (e.g., NIS Act)Close cooperation with the A1 Digital Security Team to further develop the information security portfolioObservation and evaluation of current trends, technologies, and standards in cybersecurityIf necessary, your expertise will also be called upon for internal activities within A1 Digital (e.g., conducting internal audits, supporting the internal ISMRequired Skills and Experience:Completed training in IT, information security, or comparable qualification; recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, NIS auditor, etc.)Several years of professional experience (at least 7 years) in information security and IT security consultingIn-depth knowledge of common standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS/NIS2, NIST, etc.Experience in the design and implementation of security architectures and ISMSStrong analytical skills, structured approach to work, and excellent communication skillsExperience in customer consulting, project management, and security concept developmentVery good written and spoken English skills (German is a plus)Personal Attributes:Customer-oriented thinking and actingStrong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at concise communicationInterest in current market trends, technologies, and best practicesWhat we offer:Office in MadridAutonomous working with room for architectural decision-makingDynamic, international and innovative working environmentProfessional growth and career development opportunities within the A1 Telekom Austria Group and certificationsThere are many possibilities to develop in our company!
