Role Overview: The Utility Key Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth of utility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects. This role focuses on customer development, project acquisition, and close collaboration with solution and technical teams to secure and deliver large-scale ground-mounted projects.Responsibilities:- Lead sales activities for utility-scale, ground-mounted solar PV and energy storage projects, including ground-mounted PV-only and ground-mounted energy storage projects.- Develop and manage relationships with key customers, EPCs, developers, and utilities, driving project opportunities from early-stage engagement to contract signing.- Work closely with the Solution Manager and technical teams to support pre-sales activities, including bid interpretation, technical solution alignment, and project feasibility discussions.- Participate in bid preparation, commercial negotiations, and contract signing, ensuring alignment with company strategy and profitability targets.- Support awarded projects during pre-contract and execution phases, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and project delivery.- Collect and analyze market intelligence, including industry trends, competitor solutions, government policies, and customer requirements, and translate insights into effective sales strategies.- Collaborate closely with marketing teams on market entry strategies, customer engagement activities, and brand promotion.- Achieve assigned sales targets and regularly report sales pipeline, forecasts, and market feedback to management.Requirements:- At least 3 years of experience in utility-scale ground-mounted projects, including ground-mounted PV-only and ground-mounted energy storage projects.- Good understanding of inverters, medium-voltage systems, and energy storage systems, with the ability to engage in technical discussions with customers and EPCs.- Familiarity with mainstream domestic and international PV and energy storage solution providers.- Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy sales or business development, with strong utility-scale project exposure.- Strong customer-facing, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills.- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Energy, or related fields; Master’s degree is a plus.
