Business Development Manager (m/f)
for an international company that develops and commercializes trenchless systems to liaise with water network operators, engineering firms, and contractors. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing engineered solutions for the trenchless renovation of pressure pipes in Spain and Portugal. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development in the trenchless industry in Spain/Portugal. They should possess a strong technical background in the construction industry and have the cultural sensitivity to communicate effectively with all stakeholders of a rehabilitation project. The position reports directly to the “Director Business Development Europe” based in Germany.Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Educate network operators and engineering firms about trenchless rehabilitationProvide engineering support for the design, project planning, scheduling, and execution of pressure pipe rehab projectsCreate technical specifications and quotations in collaboration with the Head OfficeProvide technical assistance to network operators and contractors during all phases of a rehab project, including on-site supervisory supportPresent the company and products at conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and road showsIdentify channels to promote the product and meet sales targetsManage certified partners within the territoryPreferred qualifications:
Civil Engineer (or related) with at least 5 years of experience in trenchless rehabilitation of pipesStrong communication skills to liaise with engineering firms, contractors, and network operatorsProven track record in marketing construction industry products and achieving sales targetsFluent in Spanish (mother tongue) and English;
Portuguese is a plusStructured and analytical approachSelf-motivated, result-oriented, with a hands-on mentalityWillingness to travel within the defined territoryDemonstrated loyalty and integrityPlace of work:
The candidate will work from a home office, preferably in Madrid and surroundings (not mandatory), with regular travel within Spain and Portugal. Occasional travel to the head office in Germany, e.G., for annual sales meetings.Offer:
