Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Head to lead our operations in Spain and Italy for a diversified product portfolio, including DI, OPVC, HDPE, GRP, and stormwater piping systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong network in municipal, industrial, infrastructure, and EPC sectors, with a proven track record of driving sales growth, managing teams, and building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy & Execution:
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed regional sales targets and market share.
* Market Expansion:
* Identify new business opportunities in the infrastructure, utilities, and construction sectors across Spain and Italy.
* Client Relationship Management:
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, EPC contractors, consultants, and government agencies.
* Team Leadership:
* Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across multiple regions.
* Bidding & Tender Management:
* Lead and support bid submissions and tender processes for large-scale municipal and industrial projects.
* Market Intelligence:
* Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and business risks.
* Cross-Functional Coordination:
* Work closely with product management, supply chain, and marketing teams to align on customer needs and product positioning.
* Compliance & Reporting:
* Ensure adherence to company policies, export/import regulations, and timely reporting of KPIs and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Marketing; MBA preferred.
* Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in pipe industry sales (DI, OPVC, HDPE, GRP, etc.) with exposure to the European market.
* Strong network with local authorities, EPC firms, and contractors in Spain/Italy.
* Proven experience in handling large-value deals and multi-region operations.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in English and Spanish and/or Italian (mandatory).
* Ability to travel extensively within assigned regions.
Preferred Profile:
* Experience in managing both direct sales and distributor/partner networks.
* Knowledge of international logistics, Incoterms, and pricing models.
* Familiarity with public procurement processes and infrastructure project lifecycles.
