Overview
We are looking for a Traffic Specialist – UK & Ireland to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination, management, and control of import and export shipments, as well as the operation of the groupage line between the UK and Ireland, ensuring efficient and high-quality logistics services.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of import and export shipments with the UK and Ireland.
- Coordination and monitoring of the groupage line operations.
- Communication with customers, carriers, and international partners.
- Monitoring transit times, costs, and operational performance.
- Managing and resolving operational incidents.
- Optimising routes and logistics processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within the transport and logistics sector.
- Minimum B2 level of English (mandatory).
- Knowledge of import and export operations.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management systems.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in UK & Ireland traffic operations.
- Knowledge of post-Brexit customs regulations.
- Education in International Trade, Logistics, or related fields.
