Amazon operates in a global e-commerce environment, influencing a diverse set of businesses worldwide. The Ads Success Team (AST) assists in onboarding advertisers on Sponsored Ads (SA) and Demand-Side Platform (DSP) ad products, managing accounts for search and display advertising. Our mission is to make advertisers successful on Amazon.
We do this by inspiring, educating, and supporting our advertising customers on how to best use our ad products to meet their business objectives.
As an Account Performance Manager, you will manage a portfolio of assigned accounts. Success in this role requires analytical skills, strategic formulation, SOP development, influential communication, and data-driven decision-making.
Key job responsibilities
1. Ownership of a portfolio of Standard and High-Value advertisers
2. Reviewing accounts to understand current performance levels
3. Engaging with advertisers and in-country Account Managers to understand goals and expectations
4. Leading kickoff calls and driving discussions with a preset agenda
5. Executing end-to-end ad optimization and liaising with stakeholders
6. Analyzing account performance, recommending, and implementing optimizations to meet KPIs
7. Monitoring campaign progress with detailed reports and insights
8. Collaborating with internal teams to resolve performance issues
9. Documenting best practices, SOPs, and innovation frameworks
10. Identifying opportunities for product improvements based on customer feedback and data analysis

The Advertiser Success Team (AST) works globally to help advertisers meet their goals by providing strategic campaign management and educational services throughout their journey with Amazon.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience in a similar role
* Fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)
* Experience in a data/results-oriented environment with customer interaction
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
* MBA in Digital Advertising or related field
* Experience in online advertising, sales, marketing, or e-commerce
* Success in business development, advertising, or account management
* Analytical skills, including advanced Excel and basic SQL knowledge
* Certifications like Google AdWords / Bing Ads
* Ability to adapt to trends and prioritize responsibilities
