Job Title: EU Customer Demand Manager

Location: Hybrid, BCA Spain

We are seeking a Buyer Demand Manager to work across various divisions within our European operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive remarketing, be digitally savvy, and passionate about getting things right the first time.


Role Responsibilities:

* Guide the demand management process to optimize auction sales by aligning buyer demand with supply.
* Establish criteria for evaluating and prioritizing auction requests, ensuring strategic alignment.
* Maintain visibility into market demand, inventory, and auction capacity to maximize efficiency.
* Implement governance structures to enhance transparency and alignment.
* Monitor auction performance, ensuring it meets budget and strategic goals.
* Standardize reporting on buyer trends, supply, and auction results for informed decision-making.
* Oversee auction technology initiatives to improve buyer experience and transaction success.
* Support local teams with supply-side integrations, ensuring standards and alignment.
* Act as a strategic link between supply teams, buyers, IT, and other stakeholders.
* Engage stakeholders to improve market visibility and auction outcomes.


Required Skills & Competencies:

* Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends and develop demand-driven strategies.
* Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills for interpreting trends and forecasting demand.
* Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Process Optimization: Experience in developing efficient demand management processes.
* Project & Program Management: Proven ability to oversee large initiatives.
* Technology Acumen: Understanding of auction platforms and buyer engagement tools.
* Negotiation & Influencing Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
* Governance & Compliance: Knowledge of auction governance and regulatory standards.


Experience Required:

* Industry Knowledge: Experience in auction sales, e-commerce, or supply chain management preferred.
* Relevant Experience: In demand management, sales operations, or strategic planning.
* Proven Track Record: Success in demand strategies and sales optimization.
* Cross-Functional Experience: Working with IT, sales, and supply chain teams.
* International Experience: Exposure to European markets and buyer behavior trends is a plus.
