The EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect (EMEA SAP FI-CO BPA) is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the IT Strategy for the EMEA Region. The role involves driving the adoption of a global model based on the US SAP ECC system and rolling out the solution across European companies. Reporting to the EMEA IT ERP Program Lead, the architect will analyze, develop, and deploy the GPI SAP solution in collaboration with EU Business Process Enablers and Local Referents, contributing to the platform's evolution in line with IT strategy.
This role can be based in Spain or Poland.
Key responsibilities include :
* Carrying out the rollout of the GPI US SAP system in the Controlling and Finance areas within EMEA.
* Developing in-depth process knowledge to support current business and operational processes such as product costing, sales & profitability controlling, finance modules, and operational reporting.
* Ensuring integration with SAP S / 4HANA Central Finance (CFIN) and key touchpoints with SAP MM / SD / PP modules.
* Acting as a liaison between business and IT departments to facilitate smooth communication.
* Supporting the S / 4HANA migration post ECC rollout.
* Managing application maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, and user training.
* Participating in projects and reporting to the Program Lead.
* Facilitating stakeholder negotiations, modeling business processes, designing systems, supporting data activities, and testing.
* Delivering solutions on time and within budget, driving change, and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
* Contributing to the design and improvement of the global SAP solution, including data migration and go-live support.
* Defining rollout strategies and roadmaps.
The ideal candidate will have :
* 7+ years of experience in SAP CO and 5+ in SAP FI, with a proven track record in large IT transformation programs.
* Experience with SAP design, customization, and implementation in complex international environments, preferably in Printing, Packaging, or Consumer Products industries.
* Strong knowledge of financial business processes and SAP enhancement techniques.
* Basic understanding of ABAP and familiarity with S / 4HANA in their area.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and IS tools.
* Post-graduate degree (Master's) in IT, Engineering, Scientific disciplines, or Economics.
* Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
