The Role
We are looking for a passionate Marketing Operations Manager to join our Marketing team. This role will focus on strategic consulting supporting the execution of marketing campaigns owned by the field marketing team and oversee the automation process including campaign creation, nurturing, and distribution. We are seeking an expert in Marketo marketing automation to segment target prospects and ensure Veeva communications are sent to the right person at the right time. This is an opportunity to build technology, processes, and best practices to optimize marketing campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have proven working knowledge of Marketo marketing automation best practices and marketing analytics.
Responsibilities
* Analyze and interpret campaign trends to provide early insights into evolving best practices. Research and communicate new marketing automation trends to optimize channel outreach, program conversions, and overall target database engagement.
* Manage global campaign consulting services to guide field marketers on building best practice campaign journeys, enhanced nurture programs, and persona-focused segmentation.
* Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key global marketing and sales stakeholders. Proactively provide strategic recommendations for campaign performance enhancement and implementing solutions to reach quarterly objectives.
* Develop recurring training and ongoing support of Marketo topics such as persona-based data segmentation, Marketo engagement studio best practices, and email testing.
* Deliver campaign performance metrics and provide proactive recommendations for maximizing funnel conversion, campaign influence, and spend optimization. Lead our Veeva Summit event reporting with weekly and post-event analytics.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in a fast-growth B2B enterprise software (SaaS) company supporting ABM campaign deployment and optimization with a strong understanding of key marketing concepts
* Marketo and Sigma (or equivalent) proven working knowledge/certification
* Strong understanding of B2B enterprise marketing processes including campaign planning, execution, QA testing, and conversion metrics
* Persona-focused database segmentation and augmentation expertise
* Strong Excel expertise
* Ability to build relationships in a cross-functional global environment
* Analytical capabilities to translate marketing data into insights that drive measurable change
* Critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
* Hands-on, collaborative team player with excellent English communication skills
* Ability to own and deliver on multiple strategic projects under aggressive timelines
* Proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* Bachelor's degree required
Nice to Have
* Tableau Desktop (Creator) experience or equivalent
* Basic SQL or other database knowledge
* Advanced technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
* Digital marketing knowledge: web tracking, Google Analytics
* Vendor management experience
* Life sciences industry experience is a plus
